ESSENCE: The definition of essence in Webster's dictionary is described as; The properties of a thing that make it what it is: fundamental nature. When we live from our essence we live in sync with our inner-greatness, which is the true self that we were born with devoid of the constructs of the ego and it's limiting belief systems. What have you always wanted to do, but never did? What are you naturally drawn to, but don't allow yourself the time to explore? What motivates, satisfies, and sustains you? These are the questions that live within your true essence. We need to learn to operate from this place of internal questioning instead of relying on the literal answers from our fear-based egos. Ego limits us by keeping us at a "known" psychological base. Ego only knows what it knows and does not desire to go beyond existing thought-patterns. Essence operates as a trust-based system. Essence is willing to step into the unknown. It is authentic, natural, creative, and in-the-moment. Living from our essence allows us to receive many modes and interpretations for understanding life. Essence flows, ego is static. When a person lives from essence their awareness and aliveness levels are elevated. The focus is always on what is happening right now and what is possible to create from this situation. Essence is about "being" not "doing." Within this mode of living a person remains in a constant state of growing, transforming, evolving, and changing. Essence is your heart-felt desires in action.
